Job Vacancy: Junior Support Analyst

Astech provides support for business critical applications to some of the biggest names across a variety of business sectors.  With a client portfolio that is the envy of our competitors we have performed strongly across the market, winning new business year on year and, with continued aggressive growth plans for the future, we now have an exciting opportunity for a junior analyst to join our award wining team.

The Role

This is a broad based role where you will become involved in all aspects of a busy award winning business.  You will have the opportunity to build upon your programming experience and provide support for business critical applications within a practical setting for our elite client base. You will also be involved in helping to provide in-house technical support for our expanding architecture.

The Person

You will be a bright and enthusiastic young graduate, with some programming skills, preferably in .net, Java or VB, although language experience is less important than aptitude.  A strong analytical / mathematical background would be an advantage.

Proven analytical and problem solving skills, eagerness to get stuck in and a willingness to proceed are vital requirements, as is a good sense of humour and a relaxed but professional manner.

The Package

Starting salary £18k plus profit related bonus plus contributory pension.
