OS400 Upgrades

Upgrading OS400 can be a high-risk task, especially today with the number of un-supported products at V5R3. At V5R3 IBM has dropped support for over 28 hardware and 38 software products. There are performance implications for a number of other hardware products too.

Astech’s upgrade service is all about risk reduction. The service starts with a detailed questionnaire that provides us with all the information we need to plan your upgrade effectively. We assume nothing; we review hardware, software and the customisation of IBM objects. Anything you don’t know we find out as part of our on-site review.  Any issues or problems revealed during this process are discussed with you at the earliest opportunity.
